Evening Event at Sektkellerei C. A. Kupferberg

Sektkellerei C. A. Kupferberg
Stained glass windows at St Stephen's church Kupferberg wrote history in producing sparkling wine. Established by Christian Adalbert Kupferberg in the year 1850, the Mainz-based company created the sparkling wine brand as early as 1852. On the domestic market and abroad, it has become the epitome of German sparkling wine.

In this old factory you can explore the development of German sparkling wine. The historical cellars are the deepest cellars in the world and they are dating back to Roman times. It is also the home of the world's finest collection of sparkling wine and champagne glasses, an exhibition of artistic advertisements, and the art nouveau pavilion from the World Fair in Paris in 1900.
